I am a Cingular customer and just purchased the v620. The only weird thing is I show that At&t wireless is the available network and I have a roam indicator on my screen. My reception and call quality are fine, but I wondered how I would get my phone to say Cingular and eliminate the roam indicator. Thanks for your help--helpless in Colorado.

Go to the network setting and have the phone search for new networks. It will provide a list that should include Cingular, Tmobile, and AT&T Wireless. You can then choose which network you want. I get better signal when on the At&t tower so I just left it. The Cingular people told me not to worry about it do to having a national plan. After all, Att IS Cingular! Try both networks and see which works better for you.
