Motorola V620

well..we have tons in stock now, so i would say anytime between now and the first of november

Is that date definate for V620 or no ?? As I am really looking forward for this phone.

Is the V620 going to support the new 64K SIM and have ENS capabilities?

Ok so when Cingular will have this phone

I talked to a Cingular rep today and he said that the Motorola v551 and the v620 will both be out in November.

I talked to the Cingular Rep and he said V551 will be out next week but didn't mentioned anything about 620 does anyone know if this phone will be released in second week or last week of Nov.

may not be released in Nov. at all. It wouldn't surprise me if it were though. I haven't heard anything about it, it's not on any of the pricing sheets, and it hasn't even appeared on my.motorola.com as a preview model.

I must say I'd like to see it released though, I liked the v600 and since the RF has been fixed, it can record video, and has that nice black casing it should sell quite well.

I'm going to go ahead and try to make a date. My guess is November 16th. Three reasons. One is that there is a lot of talk when I go into Cingular stores about the 16th being the technical aspects completion of the merger. Two, I talked to Cingular HQ not too long ago and they said that it would be out in November. And Three, the MPX is going to be made available to everyone through Cingular directly on the 16th so I'm betting that they would release some others with it. This is just my guesstimate though, but if I'm right, SOMEONE had better buy me this phone!

MPX is already being released through Cingular its available in Best Buy.

I said directly through Cingular, as in you can buy it on Cingular.com, which won't happen until November 16th.

you're right on the Mpx220, and I know the v551 and the Razr V3 will probably both come around on the 15/16th as well. As for the v620 though, I don't know. It seems a bit stupid to release BOTH the 551 and the 620 at the same time. I mean they've pretty much got the same features as each other with notable exception of EDGE. The v600 was always positioned as a top-tier phone, the v551 will also be positioned that way. It'll be hard to justify the v600's successor (the 620) as a top-tier if there's something almost identical to it at a lower price (the 551 is gonna sell for $149 w/2yr whereas the v600 sold for $249).

the v551 and razr are NOT I repeat, NOT out. That was a website snafu. The v551 and Razr V3 are on the way, they've been in the ringtone/graphic download area for quite sometime, along w/the a630. Them showing up on the website proves that we WILL have them, but they are not available as of yet. Not even for order in store.

Keep lookin for them around the 16th, but as for the 620, anyone's guess is as good as mine. But I do hope that it drops soon, cause it'll be a great to be able to sell the v600 (basically) at a price more people are willing to pay.

551 already came out along with razor when will 620 will be out or should I get 551 for now.
