I bought this phone unlocked in the US from Best Buy and activated it on Google Fi. Model XT1955-5 and I have to say, I am sorely disappointed. No security updates for the device (Jan 2019) and on top of that, incredibly slow at accessing the internet. Wifi is horrible to say the least. I never connect to remembered networks and always have to sign back in not to mention that the signal drops wifi even if I am standing right next to the router.

I had high hopes since I had the e5 play from metro PCS and it was a great phone. I never had problems. I will be selling this phone on swappa asap. I use the OnePlus 7 Pro as my main driver and I think I will buy a OnePlus 6t as the back up/work phone.

I totally agree. I've been an iPhone user for years. Mine got stolen and I was getting a new sim card regardless of which phone I went with. This one was cheaper but, claimed to be top of the line. No one can here me at times on the phone. I have to restart it all the time because it locks up. The screen had already cracked from top to bottom. I ended up going with the iPhone X. Get rid of this piece of junk phone and go with an iPhone. They have payment plans available. You won't be disappointed.

Maybe Google Fi is the problem for you. I am not familiar with it, but my Moto G7 Power works like a dream on T-Mobile network and on any private and public WiFi.

I had many Moto phones this is by FAR THE BEST!

The battery life is fantastic. After the first full charge, I didn't even bother charging it the next two nights.
