Yes, I think there are about 5 Zip files with various sounds, some good, some bad.

There are also 2 utilities for making your own sound files louder - but I haven't used those.

Once you download the Zip files, you have to unzip them and then copy them to your device. You can "explore" your device through ActiveSync and just copy and paste from your desktop to the 6600.

Once you copy the sound files to your device, go into Start->Settings->System->Add Ring Tone. The device will then search for any suitable sound files, check the ones you want to include as ring tones.

Next, go into Phone->Tools->Options->Phone. Choose the ring tone yu want to experiment with.

I found the Classic tone (already on the device) with ring type "Increasing" to be somewhat OK.

If you go to www.mbuzzy.com and download thier goldwave program that they give thier subsribers to make ringtones with you can input any mp3 file and convert it to just about any format.. I put mine to WMA and my phone will let me save that as a ringtone. You can increase the volume of the file to make it play louder, or you can make it play faster/slower. You can 100% manipulate the file to do what you want. My ringers are More than mp3 quality, sound crisp and loud and make other mobile users jealous because I make my own perfect ringtones. Some phones only let you save like 30 sec. of media to use as a ringtone but with this program you can save the entire song as the ringtone. It's pretty much awesome... Hope this helps. DL
