Audiovox PPC-6600 / PPC-6601 / XV6600 (HTC Harrier)
VZW 6600 With Camera?
Has anyone heard anything RELIABLE if VZW will be releasing the 6000 with the camera? I know there were delays because of the camera, but is there anything new?

I talked to 3 custermer reps in house, additional 2 over the phone and 1 technical support rep via the phone. As of today they claim (to me) VZW will have there camera out in about a month. But then I also got "a month or two".
My original question to them was:
"For that price and quality of phone why add a camera to it knowing that its a 65K color screem. And for the price youd expect something close to 1MPixel or higher (and 65K isnt going to display all the colors)."
So unless they do a lil more upgrading to the camera [6600]s I prolly will stick to my non-camera-6600. Besides media cards and readers are dirt cheap and would just add 1 or 2 extra steps in getting it to my ppc.

After the camera version becomes available i bet there will be a lot of non camera xv6600's on ebay for cheaper than they are going for now. 😉
