I just spoke with our Verizon rep and he's not sure either. In mine and his opinion both, you're better off without it. This phone with a camera is just packing too much. It probably hasn't been released yet because they can't find a battery that will hold a charge for reasonable amount of time. Plus, when's the last time you saw a camera phone that can take a decent photo? Digital cameras are so small and cheap now, you're better off getting a dedicated camera with megapix resolution, etc. Just my $.02.

Yes. I work for Independent Agent and both camera and camera-less version are available for me to purchase from VZW.

If you truly do have access to the XV6600 with the camera, then email me your company contact and name your price.

Our Verizon Corporate Account Manager says it's still not available (in Chattanooga, TN). Can you provide insight as to what the availability issues are?

My only questions is IS the camera a megapixel or somewhat close? Because the camera obv. wont be all that great on a 65K color screen.

Ditto for me: if you have 6600's (camera version) for Verizon, I'd be interested. I am at robin583 at hotmail. Thanks.

I love how everyone THINKS they know what's better for me. 👿

Why don't you just give me the camera. Which uses minimal battery when NOT used except for occaision as needed/wanted.

Camera phones are becoming camera-non-gratas at a lot of companies, so I wouldn't want to have to surrender mine to enter some building where I'd need the rest of the features.

Reports are, this phone communicates slightly better with a Toyota Prius than a V710 does, so it leaps to the front of the pack to become my new phone. The small problems I've heard about, like not being able to initiate calls from the car's dialer, will probably be worked out before March when I can get the New Every Two discount...
