A long wait once again
Once again VZW will make us wait for this phone. Its not like i want it but still, for those who do want it, they are going to wait years for this phone. Just imagine, the v810 was suppose to come out during christmas 03', its the end of july and it still hasnt come out. Wat ever though, i could care less.

I agree. VZW is the worst for phone technology. Its sad to see the v710/v810 line taking so long to come out. As they wait to get something decent to the market, they loose thier customer base to Sprint and the like because the competition is willing to attempt to make customers happy. Sadness.

The V810 is taking forever. It was first announced in March 2003. It's seriously delayed.
But the V710 is hardly delayed at all. It was announced in March 2004, and from day one they said it would be out around June. Sure it's July now, but even if it's not out until August, that's still a pretty minor "delay" for Verizon. Heck, it's a typical delay for any carrier, and a pretty darn good for Verizon - six months is more typical for the big V.

Delays are sure to be common for a company that has to cover the entire country with a single phone model (and let's not forget independant agents as well). Remember, the U.S. is 3,000 miles wide!!!
