weird time display issue

I've had this happen to me a couple of times and I don't really understand it.

One of the main reasons I got the 265 is the tri-mode feature, since here in Vermont I sometimes have to drive out of range of the digital network. Twice now, in the past couple of weeks, I've been in Hyde Park, an area with only analog service, and found that my time display had reset to 12:00 and started running again from that time. I haven't had it happen anyplace else, and none of my other features were affected. It's possible that it only happened after I made a call while in the analog zone, I just don't remember.


This isn't the biggest problem in the world, since I'm never without my watch or my Palm, but does anyone know what might be causing thi...

I think the problem is that the phone doesn't have it's own clock. Meaning, it depends on the network communication to update the right time. So, apparently the analog area you are in does not suppose this clock update. That's why it fixes itself when you get back to a digital area. Most other Verizon phones won't have this problem because they don't support analog...but, then, THEY DONT SUPPORT ANALOG.
