Hey everyone, new to the forum. Just got the v265, like it so far. Only problem I am having is a ticking noise for every second when the in call timer is activated. It is as if when the screen refreshes every second to show the new time, it is sending some type of interference to the speaker. Also, if the battery is taken out and replaced it works fine for a short amount of time At first I thought I was crazy, but now it is pretty annoying. The weird thing is, I have already gotten a new phone because of this, and now the new phone does it also. Does anyone else have this problem? Does anyone else like to have the in call timer turned on? Does anyone have it turned on, and not have this problem? Could someone test it for me? Like I said, thi...

Joe....I have noticed the same annoying tick on my phone, and I had no idea what it was until I saw your post. I too have my call timer turned on, and I haven't tried it with it off yet! It is really annoying if you are on the speakerphone, and it is very evident then. But the more annoying this is, I thought I thought only I can hear it on my end, but the person on the other end kept asking me what that noise was, and I realized we both can hear it!!!!! Thanks

I just turned on call timer to try it. No ticking, dead silence both with speakerphone on and off. I will leave it on for a few days to see if anything changes,

I activated the call timer to see if I could duplicate the issue. No ticking at all, just the call.

Allright, thanks everyone. Really kind of a strange deal. I think I'm going to have them wipe the software and see if that does anything. Anyone know what the policy is on switching out phone models? Probably won't do that unless they give me a sweet deal, just wondering.

Thanks,
Joe
