My initial reaction was to go with the V265 as my current Samsung400 has been nothing but trouble on the sprint network. Constantly dropping calls and looking for signals... e.g. chewing up battery. So reception and sound quality was the number one priority. Also i've used the speaker phone several times on the N400 and found it usefull, so that was another big plus for the Moto.

However, the reviews for the LG are glowing on this site and the display puts the moto to shame.

50 bucks cheaper
excelent reception
speaker phone

I haven't gotten mine yet, but I went with the V265. The 7000 looks very sharp, and it is well reviewed, but the two main points that influenced my choice were the lack of analog roaming and the lack of a speaker phone. I expect to be using the speaker phone in my car, and I consider the lack to be a big drawback.

CNET had a good review of the 700 (actually, of both)that you might want to look at. They actually rate the 7000 higher than the 265, but they may be undervaluing voice performance and reception and overvaluing some less important factors.

I should get mine tomorrow or Wednesday.
