What are others' opinions about the two phones?
I am getting V551 for two reasons: bluetooth and lower SAR. Hopefully I didn't make a mistake.

The 265 is CDMA for VZW. The 551 is GSM for the T-Mobiles and Cingulars of the world. No system will offer both phones.
The 551s bluetooth would be nice BUT then you have to have a GSM carrier. Personally, I think that VZW offers the best coverage and superior voice fidelity and recption. But, that's me.

Go with the V551 with Cingular it's sah-weet with bluetooth and video.
Cingular has twice the towers Verizon has now since they bought AT&T Wireless and SunCom in NC and VA i can finally go to Virginia beach with my Cingular phone..YAY!
Haven't noticed much difference between EDGE and BREW but when GSM carriers start using HSDPA your DSL connection will be pretty jealous. 😳
