Speakerphone option question

If you go to menu->initial setup->speakerphone you get two options "always on" and "20 sec timeout." What do these options mean? I can't find anything about it in the user manual. If anyone know please post. Thanks!

If you have speakerphone set to "always on" it will stay on every time you turn speakerphone on. If it's set to "20 sec" speakerphone will go off 20 sec after being turned on.

The always on means when you turn it on, then all calls will be with the speakerphone on until you choose to turn it off (default). 20 sec timeout means that after you turn it on, it will turn off automatically in 20 seconds if you're not using it. This second option is if you're worried about answering a call and finding that you accidentally left the speakerphone on.
