I, too, signed up for notification from Motorola and expected a response within 2 to 4 weeks. That was a month and a half ago. Dont hold your breath.

No kidding. I signed up too and even filled out their survey on the RAZR V3 about 2 months ago. Haven't heard a word from Moto either...

Cingular Telesales had a contest through motorola with the V3. They said it would ship 6-8 weeks after the contest ends. The contest ended October 7th. Now, I can imagine that the Cingular employees who won this phone will get the phone just before it is released to sell. Also, some employees here have called Motorola and have been informed that the phone should be shipped Nov. 18th or before. I hope that helps.

Well the info we got with the merger says it will be ready on "DAY 1". Before the v400 came out the sales winners actually got their phones AFTER it came out. They sold a certain amount of T720s and got a free motorola v400, but I had mine before they did!!

Ha! I had my V400 in about 2 Weeks from selling my 10 T720's....I was actually the first rep/store manager for our company to have one. I actually miss that phone (I retired it back into its box after I bought the V600 from my ex). I'm figuring (I REALLY hope) that I should be getting my RAZR in the next 2 or so weeks.

I am currently a Verizon customer, and I was interested in another phone Motorola had coming out a few months ago. Same story there too ... signed up to be notified by Motorola so that I could be "one of the very first" to get my hands on the phone. Well, Radio Shack was selling the phone a good two weeks before I got my wonderful notice from Moto. What a joke. I have been to (count) four Cingular stores in my area and ALL of them have refused to take my name and number so that they might call me when the phone arrives. Comments like "I'd probably lose the list" are common. The apathy, disinterest, and disregard for a customer with money to spend is amazing! With service like that, all it will take is "the next cool" phone, and I wil...

You can purchase this phone now from best buy no later than monday (october 18th), and should see in cingular stores around end of october, beginning or november.
