sprint is TRYING to change their towers over to GSM. Last I heard they were going to have that completed sometime in 2006. By then Cingular will have the market wrapped up with the V3...

This phone 🙂 IF it supports hands-free voice dialing thru a bluetooth headset AND file transfer via bluetooth as well... (oops, flashback to painful V710 memories there 😕 )

I never owned one... I waited & then read all the negative comments on Phonescoop's V710 forum that I was able to dodge that bullet... 😉

I have been looking for a clamshell-style phone that FULLY supports ALL the major bluetooth profiles, including hands-free, headset, and file-transfer plus voice dialing and PC synch...

Apparently, right now that is too much to ask for in a phone, but coming soon is the V551 which looks like it might do all those things...

Also the Nokia 6255i and Panasonic X700 might do the trick as well. The Moto RAZR V3 "might" work if is supports voice dialing as some have claimed, although I have yet to see any definitive proof of that...

It does have voice dialing, it works better than any other phone i've had in my lab. I tested the bluetooth and i had connection up to the 110 foot range. let me know if you have any other questions. sdpeavey@yahoo.com

This phone will never work on Verizon, two totally incompatable technologies.
