This is everything you could ask for in a combination device, except the proverbial kitchen sink. I'm staking a few early predictions:

a) Insanely high price. Obviously.

b) So-so battery life. It'll likely be a relatively small LiPoly battery like the SPH-i500, and given all its gizmos, expect to be sticking this one on the charger every night if you take it out of your pocket during the day.

c) Probably a few software hacks on the Palm side to make the display readable. If the screen size on this is similar to the SPH-i500, yet at 320x320 resolution (as Phone Scoop claims) then those will be some mighty small pixels.

😳 this is one sweet deal .i figure $450.00 - $550.00 w/o contract and coser to $350.00 $425.00 w/ contract depending on length of term.
the 1 mp camera is sweet and handwriting recognition ,cool.but the video player and expansion memory is the sweetest of them all.

This phone is going to be HOT 😲 . Right now I have the Sanyo VM4500 and it is the best phone I have owned. I have had Samsung phones before and never have been able to get the sound quality and reception that I get with Sanyo, however, this phone is just too sweet to pass up. I will definately be getting this phone the first day it comes out. I don't really agree with cellhounds guess on the price. Right now the Samsung i500 and the Treo 600 are both $600.00. If you think about it, the i550 is going to be way better than both of those phones so $550.00 is probably going to be the eBay price with contract. I think this phone will be between $600 and $750.
