i just chose this phone over a samsung 670...

i hope i made the right choice...

the main thing that sold me on it was the speakerphone... my girlfriend likes to talk my ear off, and this way i don't have marks on the side of my face from it anymore...

although i will say the speakerphone isn't as loud as i thought it would be (and at the loudest setting it sounds kinda distorted)...

i've read through the forums for this phone, and saw where someone said their speakerphone wasn't very loud, but their daughter's was...

do you think they vary from phone to phone then for some reason?...

does the speakerphone work with the phone closed (other than doing it with the headset, which i don't have, and probaly never will)?...

alright, so, i just tested it out, when the phone was closed and in driving mode my girlfriend tried to call me and it never rang on my end, then i got a voicemail (why would you get a voicemail and not a call?)... strange... she said it rang twice and then went to voicemail on her end...

then we tried it again and left the phone open while in driving mode, and she got through...

i also noticed when on a call the inside and outside screens stay lit, the whole time (maybe this is part of the reason people say it get's hot while on a call for awhile)...

Driving mode is very cool just mess with it you cant screw it up...just takes a little practice..If I can teach a 60 year old to do you can figure it out...

When I am driving, I have a hookup where you can hang the phone safely on the visor while driving.
I keep my phone on speaker phone, and when I get a call while driving, I just flip open the phone and talk.
As far as digit dialing, I just flip open my phone while driving, when it asks what command, I just say contact...Judy and it dials , or I can say digit dial and give it the # I want, and it dials handsfree!!
Hope this helps.
I am still learning myself, but so far love it.
