I had it for a 9 days in NYC (Manhattan) and central and northern NJ and found it to be unusable. Main problems were wild fluctuations in signal, choppy calls, other party not being able to hear me, and getting stuck in analog mode (but actually not being functional) after coming out of subways or other no service situations. Simply an awful phone. Others love it and tjey are selling a ton of them, but there are a lot of reports of dissatisfaction with RF with this model.

As always, try it for the 15 days. It may work out for you.

My experience in NYC was nearly identical. Ended up selling it and getting a Moto v265. The difference is like night and day. No more lost signals, dropped call...

I work in Midtown Manhattan and live in Jersey City. I've had this phone since October and haven't had any problems with it.

Although I haven't come across any dead spots yet here in NYC, I usually have full bars on the phone and I've been as far north as Harlem and as far south as The Battery.

It works perfectly at the office and it works well at home in JC.

No complaints.
