ptt software update?

I was told by a salesman in the cingular store that once the ptt network comes out all I have to do is bring my z500 to the store and they will update the software to support ptt. Is this true?

the stores don't do updates, your phone would have to be sent back.

Stores dont do updates but usually the website offers them ;)
