Today I drove around to several Cingular locations in eastern PA, North of Philly, 215 area code, and none of the dealers said they knew when the T637 was going to be available. If I order it from Cingular direct, will I simply be getting it before everyone else in the area? Is it possible to pick it up from a market that has it in stock and bring it home, getting a 215 area code? Anyone know when it'll be available in the 215 area code? A lot of questions, I know, but I need a phone and I want my phone to be this one. Thanks. Keep the good info comin' in.

Cordova (Memphis) TN -

I visited Cingular and AT&T retail outfits today.

Cingular gent showed me the display version of the T647 but said they've had that in the back "forever." He told me no word on if or when they would be getting the phone.

AT&T moron tried to convince me that the Treo 600 had bluetooth - so anything else he said to me about the phone (that he hadn't heard a word) doesn't surpise me either. He also told me that AT&T is holding back new phones during the takeover - but then proceeded to show me their new phones.

Long story short - looks like no one has a clue when this is coming out. If you see it somewhere else - let us know - and congratulations.

I already posted a thread about this. We will have the T637 in stock at AT&T, in the southern region at least, in just about 1 week or less.

Shipments CONFIRMED

I'm in Philadelphia and should get the phone
tomorrow. They also sent me a SIM card
for free - I have no idea why.

Does it matter what market, this phone
should work anyway. Anybody else
order by phone?

Couldn't wait for my store - so ordered over the phone with Cingular yesterday - should have it just as it arrives in the stores next week.

It's also now online at cingular along with all accessories available as well.

Enjoy everyone - I'll be using iSync and Salling Clicker - so I'll be sure to update everyone on compatibility.

Have you been able to use call waiting with your T637? for some reason when i try to switch calls and press the left select button it doesn't switch, Busy and Release & Answer options under call waiting do work. Everything else works perfectly, and it is compatible with Sailing Clicker, Adressbook and Isync.

Mine went out the day I ordered it from Cingular (6/9/04)
Only $10 for Fedex 2-day and no tax ????
I got automated tracking from them.

Shipping tracking shows it'll arrive
Friday (6/11/04).

I was in a store yesterday and they had
a dummy, but no idea on the real one's
arrival.

I tried to order a bunch to sell on EBay
but Cingular wouldn't let me 😁
