If i get my phone insured, lose or break it and call in for a new one will i get the 8100 since the 8000 is discontinued?

you should still be able to get an 8000, with it being discontinued means they just stoped making the phone, lg can still have stock in the warehouse. my friend was able to get about 5 new lgvx6000s threw the insurence over the time of a year, a year after they stopped making the phone.

Nope, I just washed my in the washing machine last month and they sent me an 8000.

They just sent me an 8100 today. I had the 8000. I guess it is a matter of timing.
