Status light... can it be turned on?

The light to the right of the camera lens only blinks when making a call... is there any way to get it to blink periodically like on the Motorola T720? Thanks

verizone had no idea, called LG USA tech dude said blinking light could not be turned on. Too bad, liked that blinking light on my moto 720
