LG VX-8000
JUST BOUGHT MY 8000 THIS MORNING - NEW YORK CITY
Thanks to those testers who have provided feedback on this phone.
My initial impressions:
1.) SIZE: It is NOT as big as everyone claims. Slightly wider than the 7000, but because it is lightweight it feels fine in your pants pocket without weighing you down.
2.) SCREEN: The large, inner screen is very sharp and bright.
3.) ACCESSORIES INCLUDED: Travel charger (not a cradle) and stereo earphones. Belt clip is NOT included for those who need one.
I compared to both the SAMSUNG 890 and the AUDIOVOX, but found the LG to have the best combination of features for me.
SAMSUNG: The size is good. The 3-D menu is cool at first, but the longer you use it, the more annoying it becomes. The ringers are not as loud as the LG. The vib...

No belt clip??? That is bad. All the information I have seen shows it as included in the box. Was your box opened or sealed when you got it? Is it possible that someone took it out of the box?

Nope. I just got mines this morning also and it only came with a a travel charger and a stereo headset.
I just bought the acc bundle package.
On another subject EVRYONE should sign up for the V-cast its free for 2 months and if you don't like it you can cancel it- no questions asked!

Not to burst your bubble, but mine came with the plastic belt clip. I don't like the leather cases.

Look on your box it should say whats included in the box. If it does say then you should exchange it cause either its missing by mistake or the sales rep. wanted to sell u the accessorie package, a vzw rep in a vzw store told me about 2 weeks ago that they make big commission on the accessories not on the phone.

I was told LG stopped includeing a holster because they did not protect the phone and they wanted you to buy a case to better protect it. Thats what the verizon rep told me when i bought mine, because mine didnt come with one either. 😢

My fiancee and I are due for phones and have been debating between the two.
Also, anyone think that a rep may throw in a holster to complete the deal or is that a no no?

I was unaware of the 8100 when i purchased my 8000, about the belt clip... i had to purchase one seperate because one was not included. A friend of mine had a palm trio and did not like it, so he got the 8000, and the sales rep. threw in a plastic belt clip.
