I found a decent leather case last night at Best Buy in New Orleans.
Are there any others out there before I buy it?

I bought a Cachet Case for $15 at Best Buy on Tuesday.

It is now Thursday and it's going back. The thing broke after 1 day of use. The plastic that holds the clip together is weakly designed and destined for failure. I bumped against a doorway last night and it broke right off.

POS - Stay away unless you don't care to use the clip.

Now I'm looking again - any other cases out their made for the 220?

That is the same case that I got. I keep hoping that Body Glove will get off their a$$ and release one.

No kidding, one of my co-workers has a T720 and body glove makes a SUH-WEET soft leather case. Not just for looks, very protective against minor potential harm.

Body Glove is all I have used for years. They are in MHO the best on the market. Unfortunately, when a new phone is introduced, they take a few months to catch up with a new case. they make a phone almost bounceable 😉

I purchased the medium black Tzar brand case from Cellular Concepts about two months ago....

Initially used it for my V3 which worked o.k. but the V3 swam a bit... however, the Mpx220 fits in their beautifully. The look is really nice and the case is VERY well made...

Shows out of stock on their site right now but if you call them they can usually drop ship from their supplier direct to you.

Also, if you want something really nice go to vajacases.com

I bought n SMT5600 just to compare the two phone.

I incidentally tried the putting the Mpx220 into the SMT case that came in the box and VOILA... It fits perfectly!

You can't make this stuff up.

I don't use the SMT because of all the ATT crap in there, but my Mpx22 is happily protected in its case!

dura ace,
The SMT5600 is a candy bar style Smartphone by Audiovox. The case you question is included with it. Check out the link below if you want a nice case for the MPx220, I have it and love it!

I ended up getting a case by Cellet that fits the phone perfectly. It is well built, looks nice and protects all of the external components quite well. The only issue I had is that there is a positional lock so you can keep the phone horizontal that doesn't work anymore because the round connector on the back of the case rotates freely. I don't think this is a big issue because it is still attached firmly but I do like the case. It's available at http://factorydirectcellular.com/home/motorol a/mpx220.htm#cases.
