I originally bought the MPx220 at Best Buy the day it came out. I had all the issues that have since been fixed (low volume, buggy, etc..) and even tried a 2nd one thinking that my first just a defective unit. Best Buy didn't believe me until they started getting all of their units back.

Still wanting a Windows Mobile Smartphone, I got the AT&T Audiovox Smartphone (am already an AT&T customer) and have been very happy with it, aside from still wanting a clamshell rather than a candy-bar style.

At first, AT&T required me to get their unlimited "PDA/Blackberry" data plan ($49.99/month). Then after reading the forums about not needing this plan, I swapped out for the unlimited mmode plan ($25/month). That plan didn't work well as many...

I had ATT Wireless. I'm with Cingular and using MPX 220 on the Media Works plan which is unlimited for $19.99/month. I have pulled up sites, such as Ebay and Comcast that I entered the web address into the go to location with no problem. You don't need the PDA data plan like you do with ATT Wireless. Thats why people at ATT Wireless were complaining on the forum how people at Cingular could have the same phone with Cingulars unlimited verion of Mmode, which Cingular calls Media Works, and not have to get the PDA Data Plan. Remember ATTW made you add a data plan to your smart phone, then you were allowed to add voice plan after. I'm on a family talk plan with my MPX 220 and have Media Works.

However, you will not get the same features and performance of a Data Connect plan.

Check out this website, it explains in greater detail the difference between MediaNet and a Data Connect p...
