ok, its really weird. One day my camera is working fine on my phone and the next day its all screwed up. Like, the color and stuff is all "digitized" or something. Very unnatural looking. Its weird. The pictures on set on high res. but they look like absolute crap now! And nothing is changing it! There is definately a difference between the quality of the pictures from the ones I first took when it was working ok to the ones its taking now. But the thing is, the phone hasn't been abused or anything so nothing is explaining the messed up camera. Plus, the rest of the features on the phone work just fine. So I've tried to turn it off and then turn it back on. Even removed the battery to see if it just needed to be reset. Still same cr...

My pics look bad to. They actully never looked good. I had to return the first 710 cause the keypad was sliding a lot. Now I got a new one and the keypad shifts just a hair so I can live with that but my pictures have always looks fuzzy like an old TV with the UHF all screwed up not clear at all.

Its not like fuzzy though like the crappy inside pictures, this is something completely different. This is like in direct sunlight yet the screen is all weird. Hmm.. you know on a camcorder? Some have the settings for that effect "Solar"? If i remember correctly it resembles that effect.

I hear what you're saying. I think what it comes down to is the camera/video is glitchy and has a lot of issues that hopefully will be solve with firmware updates. My pics look very pixilated (mostly specks of blue all around the pic making it not very usable or appealing). But I didn't by this phone just for the camera but I really do hope they fix the issues with it.

I'll try that. What lighting conditions work the best for you or is auto the best?

Sounds like you changed the picture style. Make sure you didn't select 'negative' or 'black & white', etc.

Make sure you're not using the zoom, zoom makes the picture pixelize.

🙄 I am also having the same issue with the camera. I called Motorola up and of course they had no clue about the problem, I am just wondering is it only a few phones or all of them?
I have checked all my settings on the camera but my pictures to come out with a color distorted and the picture just not sharp.
Any feedback would be appreciated.

Hello.
So glad I found you guys.
I just bought a brand new V710, for its Blue tooth ability.
But yes, the camera looks like crap.
But I've only been using indoors. I'll try outside tomorrow.
I'll also try the low res, and "night" setting.
Thanks for the help!

😁 Hello again. I was very pleased to see that the quality of the outside shots were far superior to the indoor.
Wish it wasn't AS bad inside, but oh well.
