CAN ANYBODY DELETE THE PRE-LOADED PICTURES???

I'm having a major problem with my phone -and I think I found the problem.

I tried to move the preloaded pictures to my transflash card - which in turn corrupted the files and caused my phone to start crashing and acting very funny.

Now that I've removed the TF card with the corrupted files - the phone is working again - however I would like to remove the pre-loaded pics from my "phone" memory.

I am unable to delete them. Can somebody else try?

Just spoke to MOTO tech support - Level 2.

YOU CAN NOT DELETE THE PRELOADED PICS!!!!

Are they kidding!!!!!
Why would they FORCE me to use some of my measly 10 Mb space for this junk!!!

What's worse - they tell me that you CAN NOT move them to Transflash b/c they are Motorola Intellectual property - but I somehow was able to do it!!! When I moved them to Transflash (by "marking all" and "moving" - it totally corrupted my transflash card, and thus the phone started crashing!!!

I now need to flash the phone, and reformat the TF card.

Hit the Menu key, scroll down to Media Gallery and select it. Then select Pictures. Scroll to a picture to delete and press OK. Then press the Menu key, choose "Mark", then the Menu key again and choose Delete Marked Files.

or a shortcut is when your viewing the picture list just hit 0 and it will mark it for you. You can mark a lot of file quickly like this.

Did as you suggested but still the phone won't delete them. I tried to delete silly little winking guy. I can, however, delete the pics I have taken. Anything else to suggest?

Hmmmm...I posted before I tried to delete one. Same results here.

I THINK I successfully deleted a pre-loaded pic or two from the v600 when I had it, and the software was very similar.

I'll take some other logical stabs at it and post if I have success.

Ya I tried it to. It sounded like a good idea. I think you may have to hack into it some how. Not sure. Probably with some 3rd party software and a USB should do the trick

Nope, PST is not for stuff like that. PST is more for flashing the phone. P2KMan is what's used for P2K based phones.
