What genius can figure out this issue with ALARMS??? (more)
Ok, here's what I don't understand... under the settings for different ring styles, you can choose the sound you want for 'alarms'. But, then, when you go to the alarm clock, and choose 'new alarm' it makes you choose the sound you want... and the default sound is NOT the one i've chosen before. This seems like a bug or i am not understanding it.
Are there OTHER alarms it is referring to? There are seperate settings for inbox/voicemail/etc., so I'm not sure what else 'alarms' could mean.
Anyone know?

Alarm on the V60 was the tone that played when you had an event set on the calendar that you set an 'alarm' reminder for... I would imagine the same for the 710
...
Yes, the alarms setting for ring style refers only to calendar alarms, not the "Alarm Clock".
You set the type of sound for alarm clock. There is no option in the datebook (calendar).
