Battery Charge issues
I had a screen saying charge complete. The charge after one call and an hour of standby the phone was down to 4 from 6.

Especially compared to the a530... which i'm considering swithing from. I just love the small size though.. and the a530 battery is great! How's the v710 folks... any comments?

The battery usage all depends on how much u use the phone. I personally can go two days before recharging. It also depends on talk time as well as what other tasks are done on the phone.

And that's a problem? The only time you should worry is when u have "low battery" blinking on ur display. Other than that, the battery still works.

If there is a diffence in release dates and firmwear to dispell any rumored bs, so when VZW sells theirs it should be the same date am I right

Rumor has it that the phones VZW will sell have the same firmware our phones have. So let's wait till they release the phones. And we can ask again at that time. 🙂

I got my phone at RS on 7/30 and my verizon store already had 6 boxes of 710's in and waiting for the 11th. Since they have theirs in stock already, how do you think they are going to update the S/W or anything before the 11th? They are NOT! According to Motorola all the phones are going to be the same and their may be an update before the end of the year, based on feedback from users. And for those with "g" or "h" in thier S/W. It is an ID from Moto to let them know where the phone came from. The S/W is the same at this time!

ive been callin around 2 c wat verizons have 710's and some have them and some dont. i think that the 1's with the later ship dates willl have updated firmware

Its not a problem it says complete at 80% to 90% charged. I am pretty certain on this, because the spare battery charger does the same thing for the T720.
...
P.S. So if you pulled it out the second it said complete then thats about right
...
