"Phone Status" option in Settings menu
I was reading posts from yesterday in reference to the software version of these phones and I can't find the version of my phone. Why?...I don't have the "Phone Status" option on my phone. This would be located in the settings menu. Did anyone else encounter this? ☹️

If you check the manual for this phone, page 73 it shows all the menus and submenus. For menu titled as Settings, the last submenu is Phone Status. Those of us as myself that purchased this phone from Radio Shack last week, I don't have the option of "phone status" which allows me to view the software version of this phone. It should have it as shown in the manual. Unfortunately, mine doesn't have it. ☹️

Thanks...in the manual...it is totally different showing where the phone status option is. Thanks a bunch. It was right in front of me and I didn't even see it...I have the earlier software ending in "F" as opposed to others who have it ending in "G". Thanks for those who replied. 🙂

i dont believe there is a version G or an H. verizon corperates(sp) only have F.

I read it on this forum earlier this morning before leaving to work and one posted having it end with G. I will find the post and repost it again.

No, that d*ck BMR12345 is a lying turd. He doesn't have a S/w version ending in G. Questionable if he even has the phone. Don't listen to him.

the software version is in a different area. look in the phone info area ( bottom right icon). then the "other information". then s/w version.

Actually, if you press the menu button...the far bottom right icon is "Phone Info" (it looks like a battery meter). Then select "Other Info", then select "S/W Version".
I haven't checked on page 73 of my manual, but this will suffice the purpose of finding out what the S/W version.
