LG vx7000 or moto v710

Seems like everyone on here has this phone. Can anyone give me a gooooood run down on this phone? I am seriously considering this phone but am trying to decide between it and vx7000. I have heard that the moto's video is great, that it sucks, same with the pictures, that the phone is great, that the keypad sucks, that it runs beautifully, that it has tons of bugs. I am seriously lost!!! If you have explored both pretty in-depth, could you let me know the real skinny? Also, if you have by chance gotten this phone from Verizon (i don't think anyone has but just checking), how does the interface differ from pre-loaded firmware? Thanks.

I played with the VX7000, I have the 710 They are the same phone, but the V710 has the nice camera phone better than the LG, The bluetooth, and the option of expanding memory. Its your priorities and your pocketbook.

Yea, the camera sucks on the VX7000 compared to the V710. Also, the VX7000 looks goofy compared to the sleek V710. The V710 has bluetooth, a really LOUD speakerphone, extendable memory, MP3 player and an extendable antenna. The backlighting looks cooler on the V710 with white lights rather than the stupid blue lights. I think the VX7000 is more very squared looking making it look a lot bigger than the V710. I'm not sure about bugs but according to reviews, none exist. The only better thing about the VX7000 is that you can change the picture background of the external screen and the V710 doesn't. That is no big deal though. Get the V710 from the Verizon store sometime after the 11th.

If the camera feature is the only reason why u'd consider buying this phone, i suggest u buy a digital camera instead. You can't have the cake and eat it too. What is wrong with u people?....The purpose of this phone is to use for talking means. Every oth...

But the point is this a good phone regardless of the camera? If it's true that the ear piece is low and hard to hear, the key pad is hard to navigate and the menu is not intuitive (among other complaints that don't concern the camera) then this does not make this a good phone.

Every individual has a different perception of any type of product. It's all a matter of preference. I will like something of the phone, u won't. Buy the phone(when it will be released) and use the wonderful option of the 15-day trial period VZW offers to us(customers), if u are displeased, return it, if not enjoy it like the rest of us. Case closed.

GreyBoy-

I never stated that the camera was better than the LG. I simply stated that the VX7000 has a better "sense" of detecting and adjusting lighting environments than the V710. The only better aspect of the V710 is that is supports a resolution of ...

OK...here's the skinny.

I've had the VX7000 and now the V710. Both phones are unique in its own way e.g. pros and cons.

VX7000-
The phone is pretty awesome. The screen resolution on the LG is a bit better than the v710. The camera produces the same results as that of the V710, however I think the only difference between the two is that the VX7000 has a better "sense" of detecting and adjusting to lighting. The V710 however offers high resolution, where as the VX7000 only offers 640 x 480. I found that the menu system is more intuitive than Motorola's, simply for the fact that the contacts are managed better. With Motorola, it creates duplicates of the same entry if there is more than one phone number attached. The style of the VX7000 ...

Thank you for replying! Did you buy your phone from RS and then put Verizon's service on it? Is Bluetooth something that could actually be fixed with a firmware upgrade? How does the keypad feel compared to the vx7000? Sorry, I'm really excited about getting a new phone as I have had this old Kyocera for 2 years now and have been dying for a camera phone. Sooo glad Verizon is carrying the v710, but I was really impressed with the vx7000.

Yes, I did get it a RadioShack with Verizon's service. I'm sure the firmware for Bluetooth will correct the problem...until then we'll just have to wait. I'm not on here to complain, but just accept it until a revision is made. The difference betwee...
