Is getting the insurance worth it realistically? Considering the deductible and the cost of phones? What you guys think?

Yes it's worth it when you factor in the full retail price of a phone. If you phone is damaged, lost or stolen, you'll have to pay full retail price to get a replacement (unless you're eligible to get a new phone at the subsidized price but you'll have to sign a new contract). For example, if this phone's full retail price is $400 (which is on the low end considering the retail price of the V600 is $370), you'd have to pay that price to get a replacement. I too have a stupid T720. It seems like everytime I open it up I get the black screen of death. So the routine is; I have to take the battery out, put it back in, and it seems like it takes an hour for the phone to reboot.

I've actually heard that about a lot of Motorola's newest phones. Hopefully they've fixed the problems with their latest, greatest, releases. 😕
