Multiple numbers per entry, how?

This website says the phone has "Multiple numbers per entry. This means that an individual entry in the Phone Book can contain more than one phone number, such as Office, Home, Mobile, Fax, etc."

When I try adding more than one phone number to an entry, the Contact repeats itself on the list. Am I missing some step?

Any help would be appreciated.

While you're in the 'phone book', press the MENU button. Scroll down to 'Setup' and press select. Scroll down to view and press change. Scroll to 'Primary Contacts' and then press Select. (Unless that's what you're already set up to do)

Now -- when you go to the phone book you will see which ever type of entry for each person in the phone book, that you selected last. (i.e. Home, Mobile, Work, etc.)Use the side scroll to display the various types for each entry.

If you are using voice 'Name Dial' -- and you have multiple entries for a given name, it will ask you which entry that you want to dial. Just tell it -- for instance, 'mobile'. It's that simple!

It's going to show multiple contacts for the same name unless you change the view to primary only.
