i heard that when you have a missed call or new voice mail that it will NOT show on the outside screen....do you have to open the phone to find out if you missed a call or have a new voice mail? Also, i heard the speaker phone was good...about how far away can you be from the phone to be able to have a clear conversation? thanks

you can see missed calls on the outside screen,also set an alert to let you know when you missed one.speaker phone is good ,havn't tested the range. 😁

it will show a missed call only after you hit a button on the outside of the phone when closed or when you flip open. the screen turns off to save battery.
