Is there any truth to battery degridation from using CLAs?
I don't know if he was right - A VZW store rep told me that the combination of 12V, rapid charge, alternator fluctuations and the lack of a power converter on adapter is not good for the phone batteries. Claims the constant converted charge from a wall socket maintains battery longevity.
I also know someone who works as a service rep at a BMW dealership who tells me this is no problem because the lighter socket receives a reduced voltage. Also told me to NEVER start the car with the phone plugged in but normal car charging is no prob.
Also, is there any difference between Moto's OEM CLA and after market ones?
