Hey, has anyone used the speaker phone with the
lid/cover closed?
I need this feature and it's hard to find out
which flip phones can do this. Some just hang up
when you close it.

Yes.
Whenever you're connected with someone online, you can press the "Speaker" softkey. When the speaker is activated, you can open and close the phone without hanging up. You can press the "speaker" button again to put the phone back into regular mode.
