...version of the ZTE ZMAX is a bit less than $200, but since Family Mobile doesn't do LTE, it's listed as 3G only. Question: does any one know if the Walmart Family Mobile version of the ZTE ZMAX has had the T-Mo 4G LTE radio disabled? I'd like to replace my T-Mo Galaxy Light (on Unlimited 4G plan) and can live without NFC, but not LTE! Also, don't mind saving a few bucks on the phone either! Thanks!

Someone on T-Mobile bought that phone from Walmart, & left a review on the phone. The phone does not have 4G disabled at all, as it's a T-Mobile phone. It's just that Walmart Family Mobile doesn't have access to T-Mobile's 4G network at this time, & only using 3G. Even with 3G, I have found it faster than 3G from Sprint & Verizon. So it's safe to say that you can buy the Walmart Family Mobile phone, just put your T-Mobile SIM card in the phone, & access their 4G network. I'm seriously considering this phone myself, as I have a prepaid T-Mobile account, & while I'm ok with my ZTE Concord II (with 3G), I really want a 4G LTE phone, & hope T-Mobile's 4G is just as fast as Verizon's 4G (T-Mobile's 3G is much faster than Verizon's 3G).
