Thinking about buying...
I am very intrigued by this phone and I am thinknig about actually switching over from verizon b/c of this phone. I have a few questions...one how is the phone as an mp3 player and ...two how is it as a palm pilot...and is there something comparable coming out, thanks in advance.

I just bought it friday before the 4th of july weekend and it is AWESOME
mp3 player is sweet...you can ff rwd, pause, stop like any other player (it's an actualy music player, not like a media player type in other phones that plya mp3 ringtones)
videos you play can also ff, rwd, etc and a program called smartmovie lets you watch them in higher resolution and in landscape mode
i've been watching family guy now on my phone for the past two days and my friends think it's so amazing (b/c it is)
highly recommend...and it's not as big as the pictures may suggest!

it can play movies also? all you hvae to do is put it on an mmc?

🙂 hey I am thinking of getting this phone. Should I? I know I read the comments about voice command and voice tags but I really dont care about that. I am worried about two things Does it drop calls or freeze up during calls!

to answer both of your questions:
Yes, it does play movies...either use usb or a card reader (i use a usb cable, real easy to use)
i've been watching music videos and family guy with a program called smartmovie which allows for a higher resolution (looks great) and you can watch things in landscape
and no mine has no restarted or crashed at all for 2 weeks. Reception is awesome and never had a dropped call yet. i have reception in places where i had no service with my v551.
i've had 2 Sony ericssons, a moto, and a siemens, this one is by far the best
i have 200 mp3's stored and like 5 movies.
