which is better 6620 or 6230. I"m getting rid of my MPX220 or one of these
Can someone tell me if this phone is worth buying.. I'm going to get rid of my MPX220 because the reception is TERRIBLE..

Either is a MUCH better bet. I have both the 6230 and the 6620 and LOVE them both. The only thing about these two phones when paired with Cingular, is the email client WILL NOT WORK. I have read on some other forums that some people have had their phones sent out and re-flashed to get them working, but I haven't gone that far yet. At any rate, the Nokia's rock and either one won't leave you disappointed!! 😁

The email client will work..I use it on all my Nokia phones (which include the 6620 and the 6800)..that being said, what are the server settings for you incoming and outgoing server on your computer..the outgoing server you must put in your phone must be photo.mycingular.com and I will admit it is sometimes a pain to get it to connect..incoming server is not a problem though..but if you get a gmail account (and buy the super email program available for the 6620 called profimail) you can use their settings and not Cingular's server and it works flawlessly..let me know if I can help..

Huh? I use the built-in mail client to hit several IMAP accounts. Just remember to use the Cingular SMTP server for outbound (photo.mycingular.com), or tweak your authentication and firewall rules for your own servers (use Cingular's... ;-)
