Date and Time on this phone

I turn my cell phone off over night - every night. When I go to power the 6620 on every morning, I am required to set the time and date. All other cell phones that I've owned previously did not do this. Do I have a setting set wrong? Is there something that I can do so that the phone will automatically show the correct date and time when it is turned on?

I thought that phones automatically synced the time and date with the phone service provider, in this case, AT&T.

Thanks.

Hey I don't seem to have that problem at all. Some phone requre the auto time update to be on to circumvent that problem--that is an option--go to settings -phone settings-time setting in your menu and turn on the auto time update and see if that takes care of the problem. There occaisionally software problems on the most basic features, if this doesn't solve the problem, return the phone if its in the 30 day window. Be really sure that you have all the ( and I do mean all!) stuff the phone came with. If the phone is out of its 30 return, contact Nokia, 1-888-Nokia-2-u regarding a fix.

Regards,
Chick 😎
