Camera Memory Display

Hey guys, new here. I was just wondering if there was a way to get rid of the "used memory" display at the bottom when you are taking pictures with the camera. It takes up so much of the screen (about 1/4 of the screen) and you can't see the entire image. Thank guys.

I do not believe there's any way to shut this off. At least I haven't found a way, but then again, I don't use the camera all that much.
