have a few questions on these phones

1) can either of these phones be used for uploading jpeg photos from from my
computer to the cell phone to display the photos and the cell phone screen.
I'm not refering to pictures taken with the phone camera, I mean to take
jpeg pictures off my pc hard drive and storing them on the cell phone for

yes, you can transfer images from your pc to the phone by a data cable that motorola makes. the cable should be under $50. you can probab. find it on ebay for $20 or $30. I believe the only difference between the v400 and v600 is that the 600 has bluetooth and infrared(?). it makes data transfer a little easier... but you're right, the 600 won't be out for a little while, and its price is slated to be a lot higher, as well. for most users, except for the guys who probab. check out this site, the 400 will suit you perfectly. pc sync refers to the ability to make your pc or laptop communicate with your cell phone. this is a cool feature because you can keep a backup of names and numbers on your pc.
