Motorola V400
which phone should i get??
i have cingular but i am willing to change carriers if the phone is very good.i am thinkin about getting a v600 from cingular.i hav a v400 and do not like it.thats my worry is that it will be too much like the v400.i hav only hav motorola and nokia in the past.i would like to hav a new phone like samsung or sumthin.i need a phone with a speaker phone and a camera.zoom is something i want but is ok if it doesnt have it.i would like aim but it is not that important.also i would like to download games and ringtones.

Well, if you don't like the V400 then I definitely wouldn't suggest getting a V600. The V600 is basically the same phone as the V400 with just a few extra features.
Sorry, don't have any other phone suggestions for you. I really like my V400, so I haven't really looked into any of the other new phones out since getting it. Anyone else?

I too love my v400. What exactly don't you like about the v400? Besides the look of the v400, if you flexed it to a v600 you'll basically see exactly what you'll get.
But, without knowing what you don't like about the v400 it's kind of hard to recommend a different phone. Did you try the Phone Finder part of PhoneScoop.com? If not, I would give it a try...

i dont like the look of the v400.i did before i got it but thats how i usualy am.i like something but when i get it i dont like it.the v400 has too many problems for me.like i can barely hear on it.the internet is too slow.it can only hold about 18 messages.i tried phone finder but the phone that i would like isnt out yet.since cingular is coming out with the new 7610 im going to wait and see how it is like.but i am willing to switch to verizon or cricket.

There's little you can do about the way the phone looks besides changing the casing and antenna (which does help a lot). For the problems, you can flex to the v600 which will solve some issues and also edit the gain_table.bin to increase the volume. These might help you enjoy the phone a bit moer until you're able to find a different phone.

i hav a clear housing which realy screwed by phone up alot.the attena can just b pulled out instead of unscrewed and it falls out a lot.i am lookin at the mpx220 which is supposed to be availible at cingular and at&t october.looks a liltle more than i can spend but my contract is almost up so i can put two years on it.so it wont be that expensive.thanks.
