Outer LCD Discrepencies

Alright, let me just get this out there so I dont get ripped apart, yes, I am a newbie, but I do know my way around some things here, I do have a data cable for my v400 and Ive set it up successfully. Well heres my problem, I had my first v400 for about 2 weeks, however it simply did not charge correctly or turn on all the time, even after power cycling it once a day, etc... so I returned it today, and got a replacement. This phone is pretty much the same thing, EXCEPT-the time and (am/pm) looks different. They are all bolder and bulkier looking, to tell you the truth its starting to get to me. I was wondering if anyone could help me out and tell me what I would need to get back the thinner numbers I previously had on my other phone.

I know exactly what you're talking about. A friend of mine just got a replacement V400 (insurance claim, lost his original one) and the letters on his outer LCD now have that "fat" look. It's probably in the flexware, so flexing your phone would likely do it. I don't suggest updating the firmware, just the flexware. And I'd be sure it's worth it to you before going to the trouble of flexing your phone since you need to be careful doing it and it will take a while to get everything set back up.
My V400 has V600 flexware on it downloaded from motclub.com and has the thinner letters. Of course the V600 flexware adds a few other things as well.
