Motorola V400
Help, I can't install my p2k driver!
Can someone please help me with this. My windows xp has hard time recognizing my phone. I extracted all the files from the p2k folder, but the laptop tells me that it cannot recognize my new hardware. I have the cable without the box in the middle. Can anyone help me with this?

Are you trying to install Motorola Phone Tools?
If so, once you extract the files (just drop them in the same directory you downloaded to), plug in the phone. Should automatically launch the "detected new hardware" wizard. DON'T let Windows search for the driver, point it to the folder with P2K. It might keep asking you where the files are located, just keep pointing to the same folder and eventually all the necessary drivers will install.
