how to take quality pics with the cam phone.

i just got this phone and would like some tips on how to use the camera feature to all its potential. I know its a camera phone and the pic quality is lacking but i still wanna take pics with this thing. When taking a picture when should i increase or decrease the brightness level? any tips on how to take good pis wold e helpful thanks in advance.

You hit it right on the head when you said you "know its a camera phone and the pic quality is lacking." But, the best advise I've found for taking pictures is....

1) Don't use the digital zoom! You're going to get a smaller picture with worse quality.

2) Since there is no flash, make sure you have plenty of lighting. If there's not enough lighting, you can try to increase the brightness or if there's too much light you can try to decrease it, but generally speaking this will take away from the quality as well.

The only way I was able to take 1/2 way descent pictures was as I mentioned above and then by loading them into PhotoShop to fix the coloring, brightness, etc...
