thank you for your reply, it was very helpful and i appreciate it 🙂 i havea couple more questions, if i were to get teh fair and flexible plan from sprint, and i used less than 300 minutes a month, would i get charged at a lower rate, or would it just be 35 bucks for 300 minutes? also, are there any other packages such as just text messaging or just online that i could add to the monthly charge? thanks 😉

I think that $35 is the lowest rate for the fair and flexible. $35 covers 0 - 300 min, so if you use less than 300, its still $35.
Visions is $15 and if you choose the Visions pictures pak, it includes unlimited web access, picture mail and 100 SMS msgs (SMS only available on newer phones: like the 680)
These SMS msgs can be upgraded to unlimited for an extra $5.
Or
you can get picture mail for $5 (no Visions)
or
you can get Video Mail (requires Picture mail too) for $5
or
you can get 100 SMS msgs for $5 (no Visions)
or
you can get Unlimited SMS msgs for $10 (no Visions)
