How do I find out if my 6230 is the 850 version or the 900 version?

I'm told that the 6230b is the U.S. version while the 6230i is the Eurasian version. My understanding is that the 6230b includes 850 MHz while the 6230i instead includes 900 MHz. The 6230i's reception is horrible within the U.S. I suggest you avoid it if that's where you live.
