Just Love This Phone

I guess I have had this phone for over a year now. I have not had a phone I liked so much since the MOTO StarTac. I gave my original StarTac to my son about 5 years ago and he just had to get rid of it as it finally stopped working. I see all these new phones and the only thing I the 9900 lacks is bluetooth and only to be able to use hands-free easier in my car. But that is not enough to make me upgrade. This is another phone I will keep for as long as it works. I still can't believe it was only for sale for such a short time. I have not had a bit of trouble with this phone since I started using it. The only phone I have seen that slightly would interest me is the MOTO E815 but it seems very fragile compared to the 9900, and I am old ...

I have the 815 and the 9900. The 9900 can holds it's own with ANY phone. If you ever do take pictures, the quality of the pictures and video on the 9900 blows away the 815. 🙂

The 9900 has a much better phone book too. It can zero in on a name and also scroll by a full page. The 815 can't do that, it has to scroll one line at a time and only can find the first letter of a name. 😡

Reception and clarity are about equal on both. Ringtones can be added to each and the 815 can use a transflash card, but it's capability is limited by Verizon unless you want to try some hacking of the software. ☚ī¸

Yes, the 815 has EVDO or short clips of stuff, but I can't see people really using it. My gosh, it has a "tiny" screen, and it's a CE...
