I'm really looking forward to buying this phone, moving up from a Nokia 2285. But, I just have one problem. All of the sites say the main screen size is 240x320 pixels. Is that really the size of the screen or is there something I missed?

Yes, that is the size of the screen and it is in 260,000 brilliant colors with a TFT screen. Your screen is 96 x 65 black & white pixels, so the 9900 is beautifully LARGE!!!
The only thing you missed is not getting the phone earlier, they are in VERY short supply! 😢

Yeah, tell me about the small screen. I own a dinosaur phone. When I saw the size, I just couldn't believe it was that big! I'd get the phone earlier, but I currently can't afford the $239 price tag. Verizon won't let me upgrade for a cheaper price until May 2005! Lucky me Christmas and my b-day are within days of eachother, so I'm getting it then.
Another Q: Can you set a ringtone to an alert(like txt, reminders, etc...), or are there other sounds the phone makes you use?
