Verizon WTF is up with the CDM9900 Delivery Service!

👿 Ok, i ordered the Audiovox CDM9900 the 10th of October, the verizon rep. said that it will come in 3-4 business days, note that i also have a samsung sch650(i believe thats right) and they didn't want to leave me without a phone so once this phone comes, i send them back my old phone. So i waited it out till the 17th and the phone didnt come. So i called back and they said ok ok, it should come by monday because they screwed up on the delivery(19th) and the phone still isn't at my house!?! what is up?

I mean i have my first day at gamestop in the mall today(i got the job) and i wanted to pick up my case when i went. Has anyone had this same problem? 😢

I thought they shipped everything valued at over $100.00 2Day Air (FedEx). Not sure what the deal is with your order. I ordered on 09/30 and my phone was here on 10/05...condsidering that fell over a weekend, I thought the service was great. Good luck I hope you get your phone soon.

I was told my 9900 would be in yesterday (Wednesday) - didn't come. Today I called VZW 800 number, got the tracking number and called FedEx. I found out that they had the wrong address for the Verizon store (!), so I gave them the right address, and should get the phone tomorrow when it's back on the truck for delivery.

Don't feel bad. I work for VZW and one of my co-workers ordered it 10 days ago and they are telling him November if he even gets it. Basically, Audiovox only made so many phones and there were so many people wanting it which caused back order. Now there are so many units left and they have to figure out who ordered it first and stuff and when they run out then customers will be notified of what to do. I can still order the phones in my store but I received an e-mail saying that it is discontinued and to not order it anymore.

Or so I'm told by the rep at the store AND from FedEx's website that shows it was delivered to the store and signed for. I'm going in after work to pick it up (I hope).
It seemed like it was easy for the rep to order it and if FedEx had not screwed up the delivery, I would have had it Wednesday, just as the Verizon rep told me.
